My parents decided to come for a visit right after Lydia was born. We were so happy to have them and to introduce them to their new granddaughter. It was my mom's 55th birthday while she was here so we took her out for breakfast to celebrate. We also had a BBQ dinner for her with all of the kids. It was fun to spend the weekend with them, the guys taking care of the big kids and my mom and I shopping and hanging out with Lydia. The big kids were starving and sunburnt and I was exhausted and swollen but it was all worth it. Of course, just letting my parents snuggle and kiss Lydia was the highlight of the trip!
