Happy Thankgiving my Canadian friends. It has cooled off suddenly here but it is beautiful and perfect mid-October weather. I love being able to wear sweaters and jeans now instead of that crazy in-between where it is cold in the morning but hot by afternoon and you don't know whether to wear a hoodie or a t-shirt.
We have had a crazy few days. Dallin and I jumped in head first and decided to paint our master bedroom and ensuite. For only having painted once before (twice for me) we did a great job, if I do say so myself. We love it and now we have to decorate. No small task in itself but the hard part is done. If you have any suggestions or pictures, feel free to pass them along. Anything goes as the room is now a rich buttercream color so we have free reign with colors for decorating!
This week for dinner:
Thanksgiving - yummy! Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, winter salad, buns plus pumpkin pie (Burp)
Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches - we were finishing painting
time to use up turkey leftovers! Turkey in a creamy artichoke and mushroom sauce over brown rice, green beans and caesar salad
glazed meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, spinach salad
moroccan chicken with couscous, tomato and cucumber salad, broccoli
Homemade pizza - I have been dying to try this fig, prosciutto & arugula pizza and probably just cheese for the kids
Maybe out to dinner for date night .... we will see ....
Okay all - gimme something. What are you eating this week? Something planned or something you would like to make? Feel free to link up to a recipe you are considering ....
