6 WEEKS

Can you believe that there are only 6 weeks left until Christmas? I find this time of year tends to FLY by. We got from carefree summer days to suddenly being laden with school work and cooler weather. Soon we are at Thanksgiving and Halloween and suddenly we are looming on Christmas and where has all of our shopping time gone to?
We are basically done shopping for the girls and Jack is just a hop, skip and a jump away - he is so easy to shop for too, if it has a car or truck or train involved or any moving parts or makes noise he is all over it! I have yet to buy a single thing for Dallin and I want to make all of the kids something fun or cute as well. I still have to make my mom's calendar and we will have to draw names in Dallin's family for their exchange.
Six weeks - it just seems unbelievable that we are that close already. I promised myself that I would finish the Book of Mormon before the end of the year. I am at Third Nephi but still have about 70 more pages left. It is not a lot but enough that I am intimidated and need to get a move on. Ideally I would like to finish in time so that the week before Christmas I can dedicate my scripture study to reading all the parts in the New Testament pertaining to the birth of the Saviour. It is something I do each year and I love rereading it over and over. My goal for the new year is to read the New Testament in full and understand more fully the life of Christ and his ministry upon the Earth.
For now, I have 6 weeks. Six weeks to accomplish an awful lot. I guess that is what happens when you are a procrastinator like me. Six weeks ......
